Reduce Your Carbon Footprint
We believe that effective environmental policies make sound business practice and we encourage our employees to play their part.
We ensure that all staff are aware of our policies and procedures relating to this important part of our business and encourage them all to help reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
In recent years we have taken big strides towards reducing our carbon footprint. We try to source materials that have a low carbon footprint, such as locally manufactured or contain high recycled content. We are also transitioning to more paperless systems within the workplace to reduce the amount of paper consumed whilst undertaking day to day tasks. At our head office and factory we recycle as much waste as possible working alongside suitable partners that share the same goal.
We have installed a number EV charging points for our staff to be able to charge some our fleet vehicles whilst in the office. We also encourage staff who drive to work in personal EVs to charge whilst at work.
Due to increased workload we extended our warehouse whilst at the same time we took this opportunity to refurbish the roof of the whole building. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to improve the thermal values of the building and at the same time we utilised the space on the roof and incorporated PV panels, covering almost the entirety of the roof area.
